Four Points Sandakan brings sparkle and cheer with Charity Christmas Tree

14th December, 2017

SANDAKAN: The charm and majesty of Silent Night flooded nostalgia through the Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan where about 50 guests came together to witness the Lighting of the Charity Christmas Tree.

It was indeed an awesome and touching moment when General Manager, Peter Padman announced that the monies collected through the selling of message cards will be channeled to the Children’s Ward of the Duchess of Kent Hospital.

Guests of Honour, Sandakan Municipal Council president Datuk James Wong and his wife Datin Eugenie were accompanied by Datuk Charles O Pang as they penned the first message “to all children, get well and God Bless”.

The hotel was indeed honoured to have the very talented pianist cum singer from Kuala Lumpur, Deepa Liza George, who mesmerised the guests with her soothing voice before eventually took the crescendo as the tree was finally lit. Refreshments were served as sparkling wine was popped to symbolise the sparkle and cheer of the Christmas season.

The event ended with a very lively choir performance by the hotel’s very own associates, with Peter Padman as conducter, while Deepa accompanied on the baby grand.

Message cards are sold at RM10 and available at the front desk. For more information, please do not hesitate to call +60 89 244 888 for further assistance.
