Feast this Chinese New Year at Le Meridien

KOTA KINABALU: Celebrate this auspicious season at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu with delicious dining offers prepared by Executive Chef Fahdrul Abd Malek and his culinary team.

Diners are welcomed to begin their festivities with the Prosperity Salmon Yee Sang set available from Feb 1 to March 2 from RM88 nett onwards per platter. With family or friends, dine in or take away, Yee Sang tossing traditions the welcoming of the new year with wishes for good fortune, happiness, good health and long life.

Chinese New Year is all about the reunion and gatherings of families and friends and what better way to celebrate the occasion than with delicious buffet featuring holiday special delicacies including Peking Duck, Ginger Steamed Prawns with Egg White and Chili Soya Dressing, and Szechuan Style Crispy Chicken.

For appetizers, Le Meridien offers Marinated Jelly Fish, Szechuan Vegetable Salad, Baked Chicken with Pineapple Salsa, Poached Beef with Tuna Sauce and Seafood Salad with Honeydew.

Not only that, this season will also see Braised Fish Mau and Crabmeat Soup, Hong Kong Style Steamed Hybrid Grouper, Fried Beef with Dried Chilies and Scallions, Braised Vegetable with Black Moss and Beancurd Puff, and Black Olive Fried Rice with Silver Anchovies in the offerings.

The sumptuous meal would only be complete with the desserts lineup that includes Orange Cheese Cake, Chinese Cookies, Sticky Rice Cake, Honeydew Sago Pudding, Mango and Passion Fruit Cremeux Dome and Longan Beancurd.

Guests can enjoy these and more appetizing dishes with the hotel’s Reunion Dinner Buffet on Feb 15 at RM168 nett per adult; Lunar New Year on Feb 16 and 17 with Lunch Buffet priced at RM118 nett per adult and Dinner Buffet at RM138 nett per adult; Chap Goh Mei Dinner Buffet on the 2 Mar at RM138 nett per adult as well as the delightful Oriental Weekend Dinner Buffet from Feb 18 to March 4 at RM138 nett per adult.
