Treat loved ones to Hilton’s Chinese New Year buffet

KOTA KINABALU: Make this year’s family reunion an unforgettable one by treating your loved ones to Hilton Chinese New Year buffet.

Starting from Feb 15 to 18, the hotel through it’s restaurant, Urban Kitchen, offered buffet dining experience available in the evenings with international choices and local delicacies.

Among the highlights are seafood selections to Chinese and Malay favorites, a spread that truly reflects all things Malaysian in this festive celebration.

On the eve of Chinese New Year, selections will include marinated sesame octopus, crabmeat salad, and platter of duck breast and rosette of smoked salmon, among others, as the appetizer, tapas, mezze and anti-pasti.

Shellfish on ice will include the succulent tiger prawns, white clams, scallop with shells and yabbies and oysters imported from New Zealand.

For the meat lovers, a selection of grilled delicacies will also be featured such as the delectable rosemary lamb shoulder, barbecued marinated beef spare ribs, teriyaki chicken and Bratwurst and chorizo sausage with a range of sauces to choose from.

The local Malay, Indian and Chinese choices will include siput sedut masak lemak and siput tarik asam pedas, ikan merah panggang berlada, marinated salmon fillet, lemongrass saba fish, nyonya style white pomfret fish and chicken and beef satay for Malay delicacies, navratana korma, aloo jeera, butter chicken and dhal maharani for Indian specialties and cooked to order seafood on ice selection such as slipper lobster, tiger prawn, green mussels, flower crab and bbamboo clams along with a selection of sauces.

The buffet is offered at RM138 nett per person and children below the age of 5 years old eats for free while those under 12 years old enjoy 50 per cent discount. Yee Sang is available throughout the 3-day promotion.

Toss to prosperity for the New Year with the Yee Sang takeaway from RM108 nett per package or make the celebration sweeter with the 1-kg Chinese New Year Mandarin orange cake at only RM118 nett each.

Meanwhile, the Urban Kitchen restaurant is open daily from 12.00pm – 3.00pm for ala carte lunch and 6.30pm-10.30pm for international buffet dining. Zest Café offers a range of coffee, cakes and pastries for dine-in or takeaway and opens from 6.30am until 10.00pm daily with 50 per cent discount on selected items after 6.00pm.
