Action packed day at Muaythai Elopura Fights II

SANDAKAN: The first night of the Muaythai Elopura Fights II Championship at Hakka Hall, Mile 6 got off with a bang.

In this prestigious championship, the battled hardened participants competed in five categories; Kings Legacy Cup 51kg, Sabah President’s Cup Muaythai Association, Elopura Fights 57kg Champion Cup, Elopura Fights 50kg Champion Belt and Elopura Fights 65kg Champion Cup.

First blood went to Tu Sin Yee the ‘Smiling Assasin’ from Club 66 Unicorn Sandakan who won on points against Magdelina ‘Lun Tauh Warrior’ (Tomoi Labuan).

Hatem Rumijam (Singa Malaya) of Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya also won on points against Zul ‘Hypnosis’ (Tim’s Muaythai Club) Tawau in the second fight.

In the third match Ayu Addyqa (Sarawak) beat Faiz ‘Harimau Kumbang’ (66 Unicorn) of Sandakan also on points. In the Kings Legacy Cup 51kg of the fourth bout, Haiqal ‘Shark’ (Kinabalu Kings) showed his fangs after shooting down Aman Koboi of Sarawak.

In the President’s Cup Muaythai Association of Sabah, Rayner (King Karabaw) knocked out Daniel ‘Sri Manjoi’ Omar of Perak Darul Ridzwan in the first round of the fifth bout.

Haitam ’Hitman (Singa Malaya) also knocked out Ahmad ‘Jebat’ (Tims Muaythai) of Tawau in bout six. Wawan ‘3rd Brother’(66 Unicorn) won on points in the seventh match by defeating Jeary (Team Karabaw) of Kota Kinabalu.

Hasril Nazmi ‘The Dancing Boy’ waltzed his way through round eight, winning on points against Thailand’s Sutthisak Khamronthera.

Riedzwan Norsyahmie (66Unicorn) of Sandakan knocked out Hunson Kayan (Sarawak) in round nine.

In the final bout of the day, Warachat Panadkla of Thailand (Ex-Fitness Gym Johor Bahru) won on KO against Eswandy (Malaysia).

Sarawak State Sports Council Muaythai Coordinator Alexander Sirai Isau; Sabah Muaythai President Ir. Haji Nazri Hj Abd Razak and Mohamad Ajman Ajmain (Sandakan Muaythai Association President cum Deputy President of Muaythai Sabah) gave away the prizes.

The Muaythai Elopura Fights II take centre stage again on Sunday.
