Over 100 dishes on offer at Hyatt Ramadhan buffet

KOTA KINABALU: Hyatt Regency Kinabalu returns with another delectable buffet spread consisting of more than 100 dishes to choose from this Ramadhan.

From traditional fast-breaking fare to international favourites, diners will get to enjoy an array of delicacies to suit their palate every evening from ‘waktu berbuka puasa’ until 10 PM at Tanjung Ria Kitchen.

All of these are brought by Executive Sous Chef Adrian Chong and his team of culinary experts to give the best fast-breaking experience with local favourites such as the signature oxtail assam pedas, rendang ayam, ikan bakar, pulut panggang, ayam masak kurma and more Malay specialties.

Those who crave grilled dishes can help themselves from selections of ikan panggang, roast chicken, sotong bakar, four types of satay with sweet peanut sauce and local favourite, jagung bakar.

At the Indian station, Chef Govind Singh features fare such as the signature cheese naan, biryani, lamb massala, butter chicken, fish tikka and pratha for those seeking for authentic taste of Indian cuisine.

Meanwhile, diners could also get close to the action at live stations where chefs will be on hand to serve gado-gado, beef burger, signature roast lamb, cucur udang, chicken murtabak and more.

Of course, no buka puasa would be complete without desserts like apam balik, ice kacang, assorted fruit, dates and Ramadhan favourite, cendol.

The Ramadhan buffet is priced at RM160 nett per person while early birds will get to enjoy a special price of RM135 nett per person by purchasing the buffet voucher three days in advance.

Vouchers are valid to be redeemed from the first day until the end of Ramadhan.

For the first time, diners can also purchase a ‘berbuka puasa’ grab-and-go signature items including the oxtail assam pedas with a choice of biryani rice or fried noodles, fried wonton, butter chicken with biryani and more from the hotel’s mobile kitchen.

Operating from 4 PM until 8 PM outside of Mosaic Cafe, the mobile kitchen which offers dishes at affordable price starting from RM 5 to RM 20 is available for dine in or take away.

For added convenience, prayer rooms and an imam are also on site for Maghrib, Isya’ and Tarawih prayers during the buffet promotions period.
