9th August, 2018

By VESTA VANESSA JSOL

PENAMPANG: Pipin Nasi Campur, a restaurant located at Lot 13, Block B New World Commercial Centre, Penampang is now officially open, bringing food enthusiasts a new choice to fill their tummy.

“This establishment is an addition to Pipin’s existed brand, the Mee Sup Pipin,” said Aileen Donis, owner of the restaurant, to reporters after the launching ceremony yesterday.

The 25-year-old entrepreneur added the new restaurant offers more than 20 dishes and are more than ready to serve their customers.

“Pipin’s is a family business which specialised in a variety of non-halal noodle soup and Mee Sup Pipin customers have always asked for rice and vegetables but unfortunately most of our outlets only serve noodle soup. This gives me the idea to provide more choices for them.

“We are targeting customers who have difficulties to cook at home, as well as families who want an affordable restaurant to eat out at a moment’s notice,” she said, adding that the restaurant only serve non-halal food.

Besides offering new taste, Pipin Nasi Campur is also into saving the environment by supporting the ‘no plastic’ campaign.

“Customers who bring in their own containers will have a 10 per cent discount,” she said, hoping to expand the business in the future.

“There will be endless tasty food with continuous surprises waiting for everyone,” she declares.

Penampang District Officer, Robert Stidi officiated the launch of the restaurant. He was accompanied by President of Kadazandusun Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (KCCI), Datuk Bonipasius Bianis.
